The illustrated brochure details the history of British Malaya Bakery and the Benggali bread recipe. The company founded in 1932 went through several name changes – Malaya Bakery (1946), Ismalia Bakery (1964), and Maliia Bakery (2007).
This brochure is part of a project exploring the traditional trades and food in George Town, Penang under the Anak-Anak Kota program by Arts-ED.
