Cataloguing My Personal Book Collection on LibraryThing

Description

I’ve been using LibraryThing to catalogue my book collection for years. I paid for a lifetime membership in 2005, but this year, in response to the pandemic and starting on 18th March, LibraryThing became free for all. I work from home anyway so lockdown hasn’t affected me too much, but things have slowed down nevertheless and I’ve spent much of my free time this year springcleaning and updating my book catalogue. I think when I look back on 2020, cataloguing my books will loom large. Thank goodness for books. This isn’t the first time they’ve kept me sane.

LibraryThing is a social cataloging web application for storing and sharing book catalogs and various types of book metadata. Founded by Tim Spalding.
